The University of North Carolina Charlottewas founded in 1946 as a public, coeducational and Research University with its headquarters in Charlotte has a campus spread over 1000 acres. It is a member of University of North Carolina system. Among the members, it is the second largest institution. It is one of the most popular research universities. The US News and World Report gave 194th rank in the list of best colleges in national universities for the year 2016.The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges recognized the University of North Carolina, Charlotte to award bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees to students.
