The Christian Brothers’ University is one of the ancient and best universities in the country. The university run by Roman Catholic Christian Brothers is headquartered in Memphis city. The university was founded in 1871 and has a sprawling campus of 75 acres. It was adjudged as one of the best southern universities in the USA and figured in the US New and World Reports list of Best Colleges in the USA.It found place in the Princeton Review’s list of Best South Eastern Colleges. It also figured in the College Choices’ list of Top 10 southern universities. Though it is a Catholic religious’ institutions, students are free to practice their own religion. The university was recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools’ Commission on Colleges to award bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
