MASTER of effective Communication
(Hanuman’s talk according to Lord Rama was) not too lengthy, not ambiguous, not too slow, not leaving any doubts, pleasant and soothing to hear, words coming out of the heart, professionally constructed, cultured, interesting, noble, grammatically correct, no desperation in pronunciation and very appealing to the heart.
This sloka describes how a correct and very effective communication should be done. Communication has to be so perfect that it not just conveys message effectively but should ensure no further doubts arise out of it. The sloka incorporates every aspect of effective communication technique which is applicable even in today’s modern corporate world.
This sloka refers to conversation between Lord Rama and his brother Lakshmana after the 1st meeting with Hanuman. Lord Rama was all praise for the conduct and communication skills of Hanuman.
During his visit to Lanka, Hanuman won many admirers there, due to his conduct and the way he communicated his messages. The non-admirers too got stern message of the strength, capabilities and determination of Lord Rama and his army, through Hanuman’s comunication.
కొత్తవారితో ఎలా మాట్లాడాలో, రామా యణంలో కిష్కిన్ధాకాండలో వున్న ఈ శ్లోకాలను చదివి తెలుసుకోవచ్చు. తొలిపరిచయం లోనే, శ్రీరాముని మనస్సు చూరగొనేలా మాట్లాడిన హనుమంతుని గుణాలను వర్ణించిన శ్లోకం ఇది. ఆ సందర్భంలో హనుమంతుడు మాట్లాడిన తీరు నుంచి శ్రీరాముడు పరిశీలించిన విషయాలను ఉల్లేఖిస్తూ చెప్పిన ఈ శ్లోకద్వయం- ఁ•శీఎఎ•అఱ•••ఱశీఅ ••ఱశ్రీశ్రీ•ఁ పాఠంగా ఉదహరించతగినది.
శ్లో।। అవిస్తరమ్‍ అసందిగ్ధమ్‍ అవిలమ్బితమ్‍
అవ్యథమ్‍।
ఉరస్థం కంఠగం వాక్యం వర్తతే
మధ్యమస్వరమ్‍।।
శ్లో।। సంస్కారక్రమసంపన్నామ్‍ అద్భుతామ్‍
అవిలమ్బితామ్‍।
ఉచ్చారయతి కల్యాణీం వాచం హృదయ
హారిణీమ్‍।।
అతివిస్తీర్ణం లేకుండా, భావస్పష్టతతో, వినే వారికి సందేహనివృత్తి అయ్యేలా, వినటానికి ఇంపుగా, సొంపుగా, శాస్త్రీయమైనరీతిలో వ్యాకరణ దోషాలేమీ లేకుండా,
ఉచ్చారణలో తొందర లేకుండా హను మంతుని భాషణం వుంది. అతని మాటలు మన స్సును దోచేవిగా, మంగళప్రదంగా, మనో హరంగా వున్నాయి.
శ్రీరాముడు, హనుమంతుడు చెప్పిన మాటలు విన్నాక ఎన్నో విధాల హనుమంతుని మెచ్చు కొంటాడు. ‘‘వేదాలలో, వ్యాకరణంలో ప్రవేశం వున్నవాడు మాత్రమే ఈ విధంగా మాట్లాడగలడు’’ అని అంటూ, ‘‘అందమైన ఇతని మాటలకు ఎవని మనస్సు మాత్రం సంతోషం పొందదు?’’ – అని ప్రశంసిస్తాడు. ‘‘ఇలాంటి దూత వున్న రాజు ఏ పనినైనా సాధిస్తాడు’’ అంటాడు లక్ష్మణునితో. ఈ తీరుగా హనుమంతుని వాక్చాతుర్యాన్ని శ్రీరామ చంద్రుడు, పదిశ్లోకాలలో ప్రశంసించాడు. ‘‘ఇటు వంటి ప్రియవాక్కులు విన్నవారంతా సంతో షిస్తారు.కత్తి ఎత్తిన శత్రువు మనస్సు కూడా మారి పోతుంది’’, అంటారు శ్రీరామచంద్రుడు. సీతా న్వేషణలోనూ, దూతగాను హనుమంతుడు సాధిం చిన విజయాలకు ఇటువంటి లక్షణాలే కారణం.
